Mom's View--Brutal Runs But Fabulous Scenery

Looking  back toward Globe after 8 miles


At lunch/rest break I kept watch for the free range cattle. This reminded me of the painting called Rush Hour that I had seen in the Cobre Valley Center for the Arts in Globe. It had a line of cows, some looking back. The painting was large, beautiful and humorous and I loved it!

The orange stripe about 2/3 up from bottom of the picture is the road on the other side.

More switchbacks per mile than I've ever seen!

Drew is running down into that--and, hopefully, back out!
