Mom's View of Greensburg, Kansas

Concrete shelter at the RV Park in case there is a tornado approaching. A few years back Greensburg, KS was devastated by a tornado, but the town is rebuilding in a comprehensive, well-planned fashion. In a few weeks we will be passing near Joplin as Drew runs through Missouri; our thoughts and prayers are with them and all the communities suffering due to such events.

As it rebuilds, Greensburg is going "green"; note the windmill . In the motel parking lot are support vehicles for the Race Across America (RAAM) cross-country endurance bicycle race.

Swiss RAAM team. It has been great fun to cheer for the cyclists as they pass. Each team is riding for a cause like Heart Health, Mental Health, Autism, etc.
